First — where was everyone of these individuals when Michael Vick was busted for DOG FIGHTING and murdering those beautiful, kind, loyal and ever forgiving pit bulls that were of no use to him or his “buddies”? He is now right back on the field with the NFL — He should have been tortured just as he knew those bullies were being tortured!!!

Now for the BSL — I think that this legislation is BS!! If we allow specific breeds to be banned then what will come next? I am the proud owner of bullies — she was my best friend, companion, confidant, and protector. She — her name was Pearl — was the kindest, gentlest soul ever. I lost her at the ripe age of 16 — even her vet cried that night.

The irresponsible owners of all dogs, all animals must be held responsible for the actions of whatever pet they own.

The aggression that dogs exibit is directly related to how well he/she is cared for, trained, and loved. We humans react the exact same way when we are raised in a violent manner.

Instead of banning “dangerous” breeds why don’t we consider banning the human –I am using the word human loosely) owner of these so called vicious breeds.

You won’t be protecting anyone be banning dogs who have done no harm. The laws need to become stricter on the known aggressive dogs (regardless of breed). In this economy, why would anyone want to spend good tax money on banning an entire breed when there are still aggressive dogs (of a variety of breeds) walking the streets. It just doesn’t make any sense.
