I think that no matter who the person is they should only be allowed one said to be dangerous dog per house... unless you have a kennel and are a breeder than you shouldnt have more than one dog... i have a pitbull and a pug and they r fine but i would never get another pitbull as long as i already have one... dogs travel in the wild as packs. if you have one than they will look to you as there leader if you have more than one than it may be hard for them to see you as a leader... its not the dog its the owner that causes the problem... dogs that arnt carefully breed shouldnt be allowed. ie. dogs that arnt ukc, akc, abkc, adba papered. because the people who own kennels do their homework before breeding them. and that shouldn't be to say that a average joe can get 2 ukc dogs and started breeding them.. they should have to recive a permit to do so... the way you get a permit would be by having a inspector come out and look at your kennel(s) and if they pass the certain regulation...(locks on all the dogs, proper feed, water for the animals and good shelter) than you will be allowed to be a breeder. there is too much back yard breeding going on and people arnt doing there homework and learning what kind of dogs to mix and breed they just mix for looks not for temperment... i also feel that if the owner doesnt have a permit to breed than he/she should have to get his/her dogs/dog neutared. that would be a better way of forming laws not by banning dogs but by making better rules... if your are to ban a certain breed than german shepereds, chiuauas, weenie dogs, other small breeds should also have the same regulations... seeing as smaller dogs are more prone to bite do to studies done and performed. punish the owners not the dogs.... this whole issue that exeter is tragic i live in tulare but i dont feel they should go threw these extremes... they're are better arternitives... they're are owners such as my self that love the animals and keep them from causing problems with my nieghbors, family and other peoples dogs and families... so why should we have to pay for the stupidity of others???

Its not the breed its the deed!!!!!
