Springfield Township puts hold on dog legislation

[...] Trustees approved putting the breed-specific regulations on hold at the March 9 meeting.

[...] Township Administrator Mike Hinnenkamp said several factors went into the decision including veterinarians being unable to determine specific breeds.

    A Very wise approach,but just enforce leash laws and fine those that do not cooperate.Calgary Canada has had much success with the policy of enforcement,in fact they are one of the few areas that are not short of money to run their animal shelters efficiently.
