Council meeting goes to the dogs

LOWELL — Dogs dominated the final 2008 meeting of the City Council, as councilors approved a new ordinance intended to more tightly control dangerous dogs and sent to its public safety subcommittee a proposed ordinance that would specifically deal with pit bulls.[…]

A public hearing will be held on Jan. 13 regarding the proposed ordinance on pit bulls.
