Stricter laws for bad owners, not a specific breed. That is pure ignorance. Pit bulls are great family dogs if you raise them to be. The only violent Pits are the ones that people breed to fight and leave them chained up in the back yard unattended all day, every day. Any good owner of a Pitbull will tell you how great their dog is and how they stand behind them 100%.
I have a pit bull, her name is Salma. She is the most wonderful dog in the world. She loves everybody, but not for lunch.
It all depends on what you require from your pet. Any dog can be made vicious. Why don’t you focus on the New Foundland or the black lab. These two dogs snapped the back of our family pekinese, and tore the heck out of our dachound. Where are we going to draw the line.
