In October, Garden City councilmember Jaylee Lynch requested stronger rules regarding pit bulls. Citizens who attended the next council meeting said that the mayor denied that a breed-specific law was under consideration.
Garden City city council intends to discuss their vicious dog code on December 6. Locals should make an effort to attend, to ascertain whether the city council intends to pursue breed-specific or breed-neutral measures.
