Vancouver, WA city council intends to discuss possible restrictions or a ban on “pit bulls” in August. Locals held a large rally in Vancouver to oppose BSL—an excellent way to network as well as educate, raise awareness, and make an impression on city council members.

VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON — A ban on pit bulls hasn’t even made it to a City Council agenda yet, but that didn’t stop about 200 dog lovers and more than 50 dogs from gathering in east Vancouver to oppose the proposal.

They lined Mill Plain Boulevard with their pet pit bulls – mostly, though some owners of other breeds joined in to show support – and waved signs to protest a possible ban of the breed.[…]

    There was actually over 400 people. That include kids too. Also over 100 pitbulls were there.
