New Albany, Mississippi, revised their dog ordinance earlier in the year. Though the town apparently already has BSL that places restrictions on “pit bull” ownership (according to an animal control officer quoted in a news article), the recent revisions effectively ban new “pit bulls” from the town. Existing “pit bulls” must have already been registered with the city. I do not have any specifics regarding the language of the old or new ordinances.
