Okolona, MS update: Draft ordinance is BSL

It’s been a few months since we heard anything from Okolona, but the city is moving forward with a vicious dog ordinance that contains breed-discriminatory language. They may vote on the ordinance in April.

Please contact city officials and respectfully explain why BSL is ineffective, unfair, and inhumane.

Ordinance draft tougher on pit bull owners

Okolona City Council will have another month before its next meeting when they are expected to vote on this proposed ordinance.
